Description | We compared fish drift in the two lowland rivers differing in magnitude of their discharge. Diel and seasonal dynamics were similar, whilst species composition differed between the rivers. An extensive flood in August 1997 affected fish drift for a longer period in the higher of the rivers which is explained by longer period of turbid water. |
