| Description | The topic of this paper is an interpretation of the exchange rate policy using during the transition process with the prospect of access to the EU. The exchange rate policy has to be based on such exchange rate arrangement that is suitable to the strategy of economic policy, reflects an institutional structure and microeconomics parameters of the economy, and corresponds to the convergence criteria. Both the evaluation of the exchange rate strategy based on the fixed exchange rate and the analysis of presumptive development of the European integration lead to the consequent that an alternative exchange rate strategy based on gliding parity could be recommended for this period. |
