| Description | The paper presents the complete local solution of the problem of trivial lagrangians in the field theory. The general expression for the r-th order trivial lagrangian is obtained with the use of the variational sequence on finite jet prolongations of fibered manifolds with n-dimensional base as the horizontal component of an exact n-form of the (r-1)-th order. |
