Description We have investigated the relationship between I/D ACE polymorphism, TaqI A DRD2 polymorphism and metamphetamine dependence. We have found a statistically significant difference (p<0.03) in the I allele frequency between males and females in control group. The results suggest a possibility of the sex effect of the I/D ACE polymorphism to the disposition to the metamphetamine dependence.
