Description Hydrogen peroxide was detected at the submicroscopic level by means of a histochemical method in sperm samples prepared by various methods for in vitro fertilisation. The most amount of hydrogen peroxide has been found out in frozen-thawed samples with subsequent 2h cultivation. The hydrogen peroxide production is related to defects of spermatozoa plasma membrane.
