Description | The aim of the Ph. D. thesis presented was to ascertain selected behavioural and immunological effects of cannabinergics and their functional interactions with calcium channel blocker verapamil, and the psychostimulant methamphetamine. Experimental methods chosen were: the model of agonistic behaviour in singly-housed male mice on paired interactions with the non-aggressive group-housed partners; "i. v. drug self-administration" and "closed staircase" test in rats; and chemiluminometric measurement of phagocytic mouse leukocyte avtivity with simultaneous differential counting. |
