Description | Soil is the earth's thin coat. It is reservoir of water and nutrients and is a participant in the cycling of carbon and other elements through the global ecosystem. Soil formation processes are influenced by several factors as topography, climate, organisms, time, etc. Humic substances (HSs) and particularly humic acids (HAs) represent major part of organic matter in soil. HSs are wide spread and can be found in soils of all continents. |
