Description The impact of high bromide levels in the organism of the rat dam on iodine transfer to the sucklings was examined in detail. We have studied the influence of high bromide intake in the dams on body weight of the dams and their pups and on parameters of their thyroid glands, as well as on 131-I transfer in the mother's milk and on 131-I elimination from the dams body.
