• Description: Text distinguishes between two interpretative strategies, that is the political and the symptomatical, which attempt to explain Roma migration in public discourses. It is argued that the constitution of the Roma as imagined community can be considered for the main feature of descriptions and interpretations of the Roma migration to Canada.
