Description | The Komar superpotential is used for the calculation of the energy of cosmological models. In Garecki's approach, the vector field of time translation is used as the descriptor of the energy. This approach is applicable to all homogeneous and isotropic models of the universe. The alternative approach uses the timelike Killing vector field in this role, but such field exists for static and de Sitter models only. The complete set if Killing vector fields for homogeneous and isotropic models of the universe is found and the advantages and disadvantages of both approaches are examined. |
