Description | Three strains of denitrifying bacteria (Pa. denitrificans, Ps. stutzeri, and A. xylosooxidans) were immobilized in different ways (adsorption, chemical crosslinking, and encapsulation). Efficiency of these preparations during denitrification af waste water were compared. The highest specific denitrification rate was found with Pa. denitrificans adsorbed on powdered active carbon. |
