| Description | The yet poorly known stomiiform otoliths from the Carpathian Foredeep (first of all from the Lower Badenian)are revised and could be completed with five previously uknown taxa (among them the new species Woodsia emi). Lower Badenian Paratethys stomiiform taxa seem to show a diversity of the same order as seen in present day Mediterranean stomiiforms. |
