Description | Recently, the laparoscopic approach has been used more frequently for liver resection. The authors are describing the method of laparoscopic resection of surface as well as subcapsulary metastases, which had previously been destroyed by radio-frequency ablation. This technique provides relatively easy, complete removal of the tumorous tissue. The disadvantages of the described technique are limited use (it is suitable only for surface lesions) and increased financial costs |
