Description | The poster presents the current state of a longitudinal study of infants and their parents. The project started in winter 2000. Our goal is to observe the development of children in the early stages - newborn, suckling, toddler. The focus is on the following areas: perceptual and motor development, the development of mental abilities, emotional development, the quality of attachment and the development of parent's educational attitudes. Up until now, about 60 families have joined the project. The following methods are used: observation, semi-structured interviews, standardised psychological scales and questionnaires (Carey - CITQ, Bayley - BSID II, Kent observational scale, Mother's post-natal feelings questionnaire). |
