| Description | The paper aims to introduce the Standards for Educational and Psychological Testing; or, in fact, its latest (1999) revision which was published in Czech translation last year. The history of the Standards revisions and the current content of the Standards is briefly reviewed; the new concept of validity and validization, emphasized by the Standards, is described in greater detail. The adherence to the Standards in various areas of psychological testing is further discussed. |
