| Description | Reliable metadata infrastructure is one of the key preconditions to build working e-Government services and to ensure overall availability and usability of these services. The Czech Republic plans to adopt the world wide de-facto standard Dublin Core as The Czech National Metadata Standard, accompanied with National Metadata Framework. This paper presents the most important issues concerning the adoption of these standards and the interference with legacy standards for public information systems. |
