Description | Sonochemical effects of cavition ultrasound produced by a commonly used ultrasonic descaler were evaluated according to the lowering of pH value of a water/chloroform dosimeter. The pH value depends linearly on the logarithm of exposure time. Formation of chemical products during decsaling could be a potential risk of descaling. |
