Description | Osmium tetroxide-bipyridine (Os,bipy) is a reagent which has successfully been applied in analysis of DNA and it has been recently proposed as a suitable probe for peptide derivatization because of its ability to form stable complex with tryptophan residues. In this work the reaction of Os,bipy with peptides including humanin derivates was studied using Matrix Assisted Laser Desorption-Ionisation - Time of Flight Mass Spectrometry (MALDI-TOF MS). |
