Description The article which is built on data from a rerpesentative survey on the Czech population (as part of the international comparative study "The Acceptance of Population-Related Policies") analyses attitudes of Czech population towards potential immigrants. The basic idea is to inquire whether there is, in terms of active immigrantion policy pursued by the Czech government, a positive social climate amont the Czechs to accept the idea of immigration of foreginers to the Czech republic. Results indicate that the Czechs are not much in favour of immigration, moreover they think immigration is not necessary.
