| Description | The issues of conceptualization of regional and ethnic parties are discussed. Regional (ethnic) parties should be conceived of as independent political formations of regional (ethnic) character whose programmatic identity and organizational structure as well as the sources of political legitimization and electoral mobilization are of regional (ethnic) character. |
