Description | Our results indicate that only non-selective blockade of 5-HT2A/2B/2C receptors leaded to suppression of rat methamphetamine intake while their stimulation produced no changes. These data correspond with other findings that 5-HT2 receptor antagonists attenuate the expression of alcohol and opiate withdrawal syndrome, and also diminish discriminative-stimulus effects of d-amphetamine. |
