| Description | Aquatic molluscs of the Bílé Karpaty (White Carpathians) Protected Landscape Area were studied from 1998 to 2001. Altogether 28 species (18 Gastropods, 10 bivalves) were found in 135 sites. Another two species (Unio crassus, Pisidium amnicum) were recorded only as old empty conchs. These bivalves have probably become extinct. Records of some species are new or remarkable for this area. |
