| Description | Diagnosis of lung cancer (NSCLC and SCLC) and treatment modalities in patients over 65 years of age are discussed. In 2003, 179 such patients were treated at the Dept. of Respir. Dis. and TB, University Hosp., Brno. Their prognosis is complicated due to frequent comorbidity, but not so bleak as might be feared if international standards are adhered to. |
