| Description | The book accompanied a museum exhibit of the same name and aims to introduce the basic information about the Roma history and ethnography. Authors associated around the Museum of Romany Culture, situated in Brno, assembled information about Roma language, history, holocuast, post-war Czechoslovakia, traditional and contemporary Roma style of living, religion, music, art and daily rituals. To compare, there are also chapters about the life of the Roma in the neighbouring countries, namely in Poland, Hungary, Slovakia, Austria and Bulgaria. |
