| Description | Gentianella amarella subsp. amarella is critically endangered species of the Czech Republic. The species occurrence depends on the extensive pasture and therefore it has vanished from most localities. In the past, Gentianella amarella subsp. amarella was common species of the pastures in the Hostýnské vrchy Mts. Recently it was considered to be extinct in this area. A new locality of Gentianella amarella subsp. amarella was discovered in the area Stráň near Slavkov pod Hostýnem. |
