| Description | Text deals with the emergent marginalised groups in the Czech labour market and their material deprivation which affects individuals and, idirectly, also their families. Material deprivation is most severe in families with children. The principal contradiction lies in the combination of a strict unemployment regie (that only grants low unemployment benefits) with a more or less traditional model of the family which emphasises extended intergenerational dependency and the breadwinner's responsibility. |
