| Description | The article presents a short phytosociological study on psammophilous oak forest vegetation of Záhorská nížina Lowland, Slovakia. Local oak forest type has been identified with the association Carici fritschii-Quercetum roboris Chytrý et Horák 1997, described from the nearby Dúbrava forest near Hodonín, the Czech Republic. Three variants have been discerned within the association. Ecological and phytogeographical aspects are briefly discussed. |
