Description | The process of economic transformation from central planned economy to market economy has begun in former East block countries almost fifteen years ago. Now the most counties has established market institutions and democratic system yet. This aricel analyses economic performance of choosen post-socialistic countries, namely the Czech Republic, Poland, Hungary and Slovak Republic, in the period from 1990 to 2002. The given states economic performance is measured by two dissimilar ways. The author used gross domestic product grow as a common instrument of economic performance measuring and standard indicators of economic performance (Misery Index first of all and than Stabilization Policy Index, Unpopularity Index). The final part contains comparation of economic performance measured by these two different methods. |
