Description | Mokrá-quarry represents one of the most important Miocene herpetological site in the area of Czech Republic. There has been found a relatively diversified herpetofauna there since 2001 including amphibians, terrestrial tortoises and squamates. Discoveries of Bavarioboa cf. hermi, are of particular importance because it is known only from the Early Miocene localities zone MN 4. |
