Description | In 1992, grid mapping of the flora of the Protected Landscape Area Pálava and of the present Dolní Morava Bisosphere Reserve in southern Moravia was started. The area covered includs completely or partly the Pavlov Hills, Milovice Hills, and the floodplain of the Dyje and Morava rivers. Finds of 290 species and subspecies (including 18 hybrids) from 1995-2002 are reported. Among them, Chenopodium chenopodioides has been considered missing until recently. In the Red List of the Czech flora, 40 species and subspecies are included as critically endangered and 44 as endangered. There are records of Adonis flammea, Bupleurum rotundifolium, Carex stenophylla, Cerastium tenoreanum, Cuscuta lupuliformis, Cyperus michelianus, Eryngium planum, Heleochloa schoenoides, Nigella arvensis, Orobanche picridis, Phyllitis scolopendrium, Samolus valerandi, Senecio erucifolius, Thesium dollineri, Trigonella monspeliaca, and Viola elatior. |
