Description | The aim of this study was testing of the action of three newly synthesized potential ultrashort acting beta-blockers on heart rate in rat. Bradycardic effect of the compound 44Bu was compared with the action of esmolol. The effects of 44Bu and esmolol were not different in the onset, but in the depth of heart rate decrease, above all at higher concentrations. We conclude that the ultrashort beta adrenergic blocking properties of 44Bu were verified. |
