| Description | The aim of the article is to analyse social construction of the national imagined community and simultaneously notices the role of the visual representations concerning the "ideal" social identities. The illustrative material for this article is the Leni Riefenstahl's documentary Olympia. The article argues that politics of the visual representation and imagination of the health and beautiful body is influential in discoursive practices within the exclusion and displacing undesirable bodies and social identities. |
