Description | The goal of this study was to evaluate the effect of increasing FLT concentration and the duration of exposure on the chlorophyll fluorescence parameters of symbiotic algae in thalli of selected lichen species. The next aim of our study was to find a suitable chlorophyll fluorescence parameter for indication of early negative PAH effect on photosynthetic processes in lichens. The obtained results demonstrated, that the applied concentrations of FLT (1 and 5 mg/l) affected primary photochemical processes of photosynthesis of algae in both lichen species. The fluoranthene content in thallus of both lichen species was increasing with increasing FLT concentration in the environment. |
