| Description | The paper describes the development of vegetation in alluvium of Morava and Dyje rivers since the last glacial until present. The human impact on the landscape of the alluvium is described in details. This impact led to the large changes in the vegetation, as documented by archaeological finds. The essential part of the contribution give the overview of present vegetation conditions in the alluvium. The most important vegetation units and typical species are presented. At the end the history of the botanical research in the floodplain is summarised. |
