| Description | During 2001 2002 was collected a material of Diptera on one of the remarkablest places of Czech Republic National Park of Podyjí. Natural conditions of NP Podyjí are very specific and offer a refuge to thermophilous either montain species. From collected material were processed and determined altogether 84 species of the family Ceratopogonidae (notes on 17 species of the genus Culicoides in prep.), from which 66 species are known from Czech Republic.This represent 42 % of the total czech fauna, next 18 species are first recorded from the Czech Republic and 6 spp. are new for the historical territory of Moravia. |
