Description | The article deals with aspects of social control of traveller communities in France and influence of this control on internal organisation of migratory communities and on their anomization. Main emphasis is laid on sociolinguistic analysis, which reflects how the way of marking of population through social constructs of majority (exonyms) may later serve as a tool for administration of these Travellers. The first part is sociolinguistic analyse. It is aimed on scanning the absence of particular translations of French terms to Czech. The texte also consists of a review of varied denominations of ethnic groups in France, of etymological analyse of their labelling by majority and of a debate about politically correct terms. The following part analyses particular legislation and administrative texts, which specified control mechanisms of travelling and connected administration. |
