| Description | The paper introduces the research project that aims at theoretical and empirical analysis of women's criminality in the Czech Republic. First, the problem of human motivation is solved. There are essential motives - needs, interests, values and attitudes. However, the central topic of the project is concentrated on value orientation and legal attitudes in human behaviour. The main subject of the paper is the presentation of the research focused on delinquent women concerning their legal attitudes and value orientations. The theoretical analysis of these subject matters is complemented with the essential sociological data as the result of the representative 2003 research among sentenced women in some Czech prisons. The paper also given relevant comparative data of Slovak women sentenced to serve in Slovak prison for women in Nitra. |
