Description | Obtained data clearly demonstrated that as previously in mice a repeated administration of methamphetamine elicited behavioural sensitization to its stimulatory effects in rats. However, we were not able to provoke cross-sensitization by repeated application of cannabinoid CB1 receptor agonist methanandamide and similarly, we did not demonstrate suppression of the cross-sensitization in rats that were repeatedly given combined pre-treatment of cannabinoid CB1 receptor antagonist AM 251 and methamphetamine as it was demonstrated in research carried out in mice. |
