Description The paper presents the results of the pieces of research focused on the examination and comparison of self-perception of school successfulness among children with a diagnosed specific learning disorder attending a specialised class and children without such disorder attending a regular primary school class, with respect to examining the differences between boys and girls. Furthermore, school results in selected subjects were also examined. The paper also analyses the relation between self-perception of school successfulness and school results of pupils in both groups. Furthermore, it has also been examined what status dyslectic children have in the school group and how they are perceived by their teachers.
