| Description | A Cibacron Blue Agarose chromatography was introduced as the first step in FerB purification from cell-free extracts. Kinetic parameters (KM, Vlim) were determined for a series of benzoquinones and naphtoquinones differing in their lipophilicity and redoxpotential. FerB was also characterised with respect to reaction mechanism and senstitivity to the known inhibitors of quinone reductases. |
