Description | A microtiter plate-based assay for the automatic monitoring of degradation profile of yellow-coloured nitrophenolic compounds is presented. The values of the rate and saturation constants characterising degradation profile of 4-nitrophenol, 4-nitroguaiacol and 4-nitrocatechol were comparable with the values determined by conventional HPLC method. The microtitre plate-based method seems to be efficient for screening degradation studies of nitroaromatics processing high number of samples. |
