| Description | The terms of trade are the important indicator that is used for analysing the impact of international trade on home economy. This paper delas with the issue of terms of trade and factors that influence it, e.g. protectionist trade measures, exchange rate and price changes. In case of the Czech economy the terms of trade have been improving continually except the year 1999 and 2000 when oil prices were soaring on the world market. The import and export indices in the Czech trade are mainly influenced by changes in: exchange rate, oil prices and prices of SITC.7 (machinery nad transport equipment). |
