Description | Wireless sensor networks are networks consisting from thousands of lightweight nodes, equipped with environmental sensor and small range radio. Sensed information is collected across multi-hops paths by few powerful nodes called base stations. Need for security in this highly distributed environment with resource-constrained nodes renders new challenges for suitable routing, key distribution and communica- tion protocols. Probabilistic key pre-distribution concept was developed to deal with restricted number of keys, which can be carried by single node. We present new message encryption protocol, that is build above probabilistic key pre-distribution and which significantly increase resilience of network against the node capture threat. |
