Description | The article considers specific potentials of heavy mineral species with respect to their microchemistry as provenance indicator. Of the minerals collected within a large-scale heavy mineral survey in the Western Carpathian flysch, garnet, tourmaline, pyroxenes, amphiboles an Cr-spinels are considered as possible provenance indicators. |
