• Description: In this work the method for determination of iodine in milk samples is descibed. The method for sample preparation was alkline ashing and iodine contents were measured with use of VG-ICP-OES. There are discussed spectral interferences and methods for its elimination in this work. Evaluated method was validated by analysis of CRM sample and by other independent technique ICP-MS.
