• Description: Acute administration of MDMA elicited a dose dependent increase in defensive-escaping behaviour with a decrease of sociability in timid mice and a suppression of aggressive behavioural acts in aggressive animals. Challenge doses administered after withdrawal have shown practically the same effects, which confirmed the anxiogenic influence of MDMA.
