Description | The aim of this work was to assess the effect of fluoranthene on the separated leaves and suspension of isolated chloroplasts of pea plants (Pisum sativum) by means of induced chlorophyll fluorescence technique. The short-time exposure (12, 24 and 48 h) of separated leaves to FLT (0.1, 1, 5 and 10 mg/L) caused an affection of chlorophyll fluorescence parameters (F0 increase, decrease of FV/FM and PhiII) especially in treatments with FLT 5 and 10 mg/L. Results from the assessment of isolated chloroplast were not always in correlation with the results from the leaves. |
