Description | The effect of intact and photomodified form of fluoranthene (FLT, resp. phFLT; 0.1, 1 and 5 mg/L) on chlorophyll fluorescence parameters (F0, FV/FM and PhiII) in two foliose lichen species, Lasallia pustulata and Umbilicaria hirsuta was investigated. The results demonstrated an affection of primary processes of photosynthesis of symbiotic algae in both lichens (increase of F0, decrease of FV/FM and PhiII) during three days of cultivation. Photomodified form of FLT appeared to be more toxic than the intact form. Among lichen species, Umbilicaria hirsuta exhibit more sensitive response than Lasallia pustulata. |
