Description | The aim of this work was to suggest analytical approaches for assessment of community-level physiological profiles (CLPP) of soil microorganisms determined by BIOLOG method. For demonstration of analytical approaches 4 soils with known biology and physical-chemistry properties were used. Shannon-Weaver diversity index , evenness, principal component analysis and cluster analysis were used to assess CLPP. Evaluting parameters were trapezoid areas under the curve (TA) and values of absorbance after 48 and 72 hours of incubation. As the result T-TA was choosen as the most sensitive parameter for CLPP assessment. The distribution of soils evaluted by T-TA corresponded with their biology and physical-chemistry properties. Interpretation of CLPP data requires information from all of analytical methods used. This would be a manual for rutine evaluating of CLPP. |
