| Description | We proved the hypothesis that the age-dependent decrease of baroreflex sensitivity corresponds to the age-related structural changes of the carotid wall. A mild decrease of BP, a decrease of short-term blood-pressure variability and the increase of the power in spectra of SBP in the range of 0.1 Hz during 1-year interval is a positive effect of the therapy. |
